Petecube

The Petecube “is a research project investigating the integration of touch with both sound and vision. The focus is on musical instruments, as they provide an excellent platform for experimentation. The result is a range of musical instruments that explore different modalities of interaction.” I like how it looks…that’s good enough for me! [via]

Soundbomb

Each Soundbomb “a handmade design object for interactive transmission. An integrated soundmodule makes it possible to record any given sound and then activate it through a motion detector. As a Non-Visual Graffiti, with its origin in streetart, Soundbombs give the possibility to tag a place in an acoustic form: a welcoming greeting at the entrance or a warning of a bad restaurant.” Fantastically fun idea and a lovely looking object. Tyger

Tyger, by Guilherme Marcondes, has to be one of the most interesting and unique animation I’ve seen in a while. So many mediums mixed together perfectly make for some real eye-candy unlike any you’ve seen before. [via]
