Darts
b0b over at HYB went to watch darts the other day – “The other night I got a call asking if I wanted to go and watch a Premier League darts contest as someone couldn’t use a ticket they’d paid for due to illness. It sounded like it would be a laugh and a good excuse for a drink so I went along but was amazed the ticket cost £34 and also that darts had a premier league.” Read the the rest of his account here; I had no idea of what you get to see for your £34!
Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi – 3
In the same vane as Pomplamoose, Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi have made Britney Spears’ 3 sound good. Jeez, Louis can drum.
Sever – Protecting Today’s Perishables for Tomorrow
Sever – Protecting today’s perishables for tomorrow. I’m always amazed at how tight some writers can paint and do away without any background stuff.

A.K.A. – A Solo Show with Alex Young
Alex Young has a show from April 5th to May 10th, 2010 at London Miles Gallery (in their new gallery space, Westbourne Studios. 242 Acklam Road. Studio 303. W10 5JJ. London). I caught his last one at London Miles and it was the single greatest collection of artwork I’ve seen. Without doubt. It was hard to leave. Anyway, A.K.A. a solo show with Alex Young.
Drawing pendulum
I love how the Drawing pendulum’s different swings create different shaped “brush” strokes.
