Steve Jobs Resigns As CEO Of Apple

Steve Jobs Resigns As CEO Of Apple – It’s not a complete surprise but it still leaves me a little sad. I’ve been using Apple products for a few years now and am very grateful for the way that they’ve made computing life more pleasurable and the lack of trouble they’ve caused me as a result. More or less every aspect of being an iMac and iPhone user is a pleasant one and I’m still amazed at how well they work. There’s no going back. I know it’s not all about Jobs and that he has an amazing crew behind him and am sure that Apple continue to create products that are ahead of their time.

Vhils – New Book

Vhils has another book coming out, simply called Vhils. “The monograph Vhils is the most extensive collection of his personal and commissioned work to date, much of which is published here for the first time. The introduction is written by Marc and Sara Schiller of Wooster Collective.” More info on the book can be found here.

Some incredible stop-frame photographic animation in Move – “3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage… all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ….into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films….. = a trip of a lifetime.”

Maskull Lasserre

Maskull Lasserre… Wow! What a craftsman. Here’s a skeleton carved into some newspaper compressed within a press. Make sure you check out the other work he’s created it’s incredible. [via]
