Pocket Clanger Theremin

I love my pocket PC. I also love the sound of Theremins. Imagine the joy when I found and installed the Pocket Clanger Theremin on my pocket PC today! You boot it up and have a graph with a Clanger in front of you (old children’s TV program character), luckily you can get rid of him so that he doesn’t distract from the fact that this a seriously neat little application. So, now that you’re left with just the graph you can press the pocket PCs stylus onto it to alter the sound. Left to right alters the theremin’s pitch and up and down alters its volume. You also get a up to five seconds worth of delay as well as a few other interesting features, gotta love those squeaks and squeels…and did I mention that it’s free? Mobile music at its most bizarre.

Below is a picture of Leon Theremin (circa 1920) playing the original version of the theremin (more interesting than a picture of a pocket PC with a theremin emulator!).
