Toycamera Book
Ed and 25 other toy camera photographers from all around the world got together (virtually) with their $15 cameras, took a bunch of great photos and then had a book made called…Toycamera. Their aim is “prove that you can make a silk purse out of a sows ear” and show that “depth of feeling is more important than depth of field”…love it. They not only wanted to show their “dreamlike, stellar and sublime” images but also to “inspire you, dear viewer, to become a Plastic Camera devotee.”
After reading Don Brice’s (one of the book’s contributers) info on how the book was planned & executed on his blog, Definitely Blurred, I am totally inspired. Not just by their photography but more with the way in which they were so organised and focused in coming together to make something so cool. They must be so pleased with themselves.
