Both of my Vox AC30 guitar amps went to Blackie’s Tubesville here in LA. I’ve worked with a lot of cats in the last four decades and Blackie is definitely the real deal. I’m a complete guitar and amp freak, he’s a complete freak about making them sound as sweet as it gets. From here on out, he’s the ONLY cat that will ever work on my gear. For him it’s more than a living, it’s a passion and it shows in his work. Thank God he came to LA!
