Seenworld & Futura2000
When I was younger (15/16?) I was a huge fan of graffiti, particularly the work of Seen and Futura (more interesting Futura info here). I was never very good a drawing graffiti but I could copy stuff OK (what do you mean I still do!). I used to lay on the floor with huge pieces of paper and card and go through my Spraycan Art book copying my favourite pieces and colouring them in, Seen’s whole cars and Futura’s tags, over and over and over. It was great to stumble across Seen’s online home, Seenworld, earlier and learn more about what he’s up to. I’m not sure how I missed it but he created one of the Dunnys (see my earlier post for more Dunny info). Anyway, check out their sites.

yo seen, ive been a long time fan and admirer of urs among other pioneer writers. i remember back when i was younger seeing them madseen pieces and burners on the 2 & 5 trains and not to mention the pj pj pj,seen seen floats “throw ups” back to back down whole cars i miss those days i wish the trains were still here cats like you& skeme and a whole lot of other writers would still be gettin up and im sure id be an all city lord. Anyway youre one of the writers that inspired me even though im more of a bomber like a cope2 or a cap smackin the streets of northern nj hiways youre a true graff lord “MR.SEEN”

pero su talento y habilidad son los mejores, lo conosi en un programa de tv aki en mi pais (chile) y yo ke pinto tambien me encanto, me encantaria aserle un tributo en un lugar donde nadie se olvide, se ke no seria = pero soi bueno

September 18th, 2006 at 3:43 amiv got a lot of graffiti favorits like blade,futura2000,kase2 and a lot more. but my best of all is seen. i started off coping pictures but i have been doing it for a few years now my dad also used to do graffiti when he was a kid so thats who i got it from. i am 13 years old and write chaz and i live in london. there r some good graffiti around my area but not that many so i would love all the old skool writers to come round and bomb the streets of london.
