Carhart Shop & They Made Me Do It
A couple of images from yesterday’s London trip…The front of the Carhart shop and the back of a van over the road from it. Both very nice. The Carhart picture is very grand in real life, it takes up one whole window of the shop front (about 10 feet tall?).
As for my shopping bag…a trip to he amazing Magma was fruitful. I came away with Vinyl Will Kill, it’s all about the designer toy phenomenon. It’s only been published in Singapore so it’s a little pricey but it’s a fantastic read with loads of brilliant designer toy information. I also found a new magazine while I was there called Specialten. It comes out bi-monthly and comprises of a short magazine (mostly images), a limited edition print and a DVD of “short films, music, videos and interviews.” It costs £5 and is definitely one I’ll keep an eye out for the future.
