I saw a post on Wooster at the beginning of the month showing an amazing billboard in London. It looked like it had been created by covering the original advert with post-it notes or something similar. The link’s been sitting in my backlog since then waiting to be ‘processed!’ Anyways, Regine over at We Make Money Not Art has found more information (as usual) about the whole thing. It turns out that the billboard wasn’t a one-off. A group of artists that go bu the name CutUp are responsible for the pieces and they are actually created by “slicing up an a carefully selected billposter and then collaging all the pieces into a newly ordered image.” They’ve also got a show planned at Kemistry Gallery from the 1st to 30th of April.
