I got my hands on a Disc-it! today and I have to say it’s mighty fine! So, what is it and why is it so cool? It’s a fancy little cone that is designed to hold up to eight frequently used discs (CDs, DVDs, CDROMs etc.) on your desk safely without getting them scratched.
So, in no particular order, the pros…
They work!
They’re stylish
You don’t have to keep placing the discs back into their cases when you know you’re going to need them again soon
They’re nice and small so they don’t leave too much of a footprint when not in use.
They come in a range of different colours to suit your desk/room/taste.
They make a nice sound when shaken due to the sand that weighs them down!
They’re good fun to play with! Especially when there’s a CD in situ (if you’re anything like me you’ll love spinning the discs around!).
They’ve got three rubber feet so your desk won’t get scratched either.
They’re cheep (Less than £4 in the UK or less than $5 direct from Disc-it!).
The cons…
You need some space on the desk to begin with! (Mind you, you get a Disc-it! and you’ll make some space.)
You may enjoy playing with it so much you may forget about the work you should/could be doing!
You may end up leaving discs out just because they look better this way!
One day, every desk will have a Disc-it! (Well…at least in my house they will!)
Ektopia Approved Product! (Reviewing stuff is fun, I think I need an Ektopia Approved Product graphic for such occasions!)

I bought 4 of these from the mydiscit.com website and I have to say, once you have them, you really can’t live without them. They are GREAT!!
