Fm3’s Buddha Machine
Fm3 have released their latest tunes on a little hardwired device. It’s comprises of 9 different loops that are “stored on a small chip and can be directly played by this mini soundsystem.” Take a listen to some of the loops and I think you’ll agree that they sound mighty fine. Sounds like it could well be the greatest bedtime music ever. You can buy them from Forced Exposure for $23 plus shipping. Stunning stuff and a lovely graphic too. [via]
This is a wonderfully delightful piece of art. Simply brilliant.

Hello,
I have recently opened a website specifically related to the FM3 buddha machine, reviews, articles, links etc. I also stock the units themselves.
Please feel free to visit http://www.buddha-machine.com

the Buddha machine is fantstic. We love them so much we have four.
Some may think they are limited but you can have a lot of fun with them. Try using them to drive a synthesizer or drum machine. We’ve used them for sampling and tried a number of things. Each time the essntial buddha nature comes through.
September 16th, 2006 at 6:19 amComing from a practicing Buddhist, this machine is offensive as you are using Buddha’s name on a product that has nothing to do with his beliefs. All you play is meditation music which isn’t even used by traditional Buddhist Monks.
For your next rip off product, I have a suggestion…
The Jesus Machine where you can have sounds of different bells ringing which again, has nothing to do with Jesus…
Cheers,
PW
