Graffiti Writer
“GraffitiWriter is a tele-operated field programable robot which employs a custom built array of spray cans to write linear text messages on the ground at a rate of 15 kilometers per hour.” The gang who invented the Graff Writer took it to some public places to try it out. Now, here’s th interesting bit…nearly all of the people who were asked if they would like to operate the robot while it created it’s art, in itself a “high profile act of vandalism,” were more than happy to do so! So by physically separating the artist from the paint somehow seems to make people much more likely to break the law! Interesting isn’t it? Check the video links at the bottom of the page. that’s funny. Graffiti is such a legal ify. It’s not a really big crime and if the work is artistic (like an oil painting) and in good taste you probibly wouldn’t get in trouble for it even if technically it’s defacing private or public property.
