John Zoller’s Alphamega Series
John Zoller’s Alphamega Series - “These photographs capture the zenith moment in a physical process utilizing primordial destructive elements (fire, heat, light) and technology. This process mirrors the intention of the work: an exploration of the themes of birth and death, beginning and ending, transcendence, and the transference of energy. This non camera based Photography is created with out the use of photoshop or any digital manipulation.” The shapes, colours and textures in these images are brilliant…blowtorchagogo! Imaging an animated version…make a great screensaver.

Some truly unique photography….the detail is excellent, as is the rest of his work I’ve seen so far
January 12th, 2006 at 8:21 amI love it! I have one on my desktop too!
January 13th, 2006 at 1:09 amThe photos have an organic look and feel. Alien egg detials, melting burnt sugar, and motion at the speed of light frozen in a nano second, and the feeling of Breaking on through to the other side.
Sounds like stoner talk after the 5th bong hit…but its all contained with in these photos and then some.
Some of the best photo abstractions I have ever seen, not like anything else ! Who is this masked man ? I want one, no several !
