Streetlight - Wide, Normal, Tele

This is from the first roll of 35mm that I managed to squash into my Coronet 4-4. The technique was first seen when Alspix nailed it at the end of last year. Even armed with an explanation and proof that it worked I still managed to make a complete mess of these photos! Light-leaks…lot’s of light-leak! Even with a special piece of plastic inside to count the sprocket clicks I managed to overlap the first half of the film like the one above. It was only when I realised I was taking about the 54th photo on a 36 roll that I realised that my attempt at counting sprocket hole clicks was pathetic. I then over compensated and ended up with one photo in the space that could have taken three! Ho hum…

However, two good things came of the experiment… 1. I really like this photo. 2. I got to use my new lenses that I had previously purchased to use with the Lomo LC-A. The are made by Kaligar and were intended to fit onto a Kodak instamatic camera. The come with a small internal ring to make the lenses fit with particular Kodak Instamatics; it just so happens that these rings make the lenses fit perfectly on the Coronet 4-4 Mark II. So, this photo, however badly wound on, shows the same subject with each of the three lenses attached. If it turns out to be the only decent photo on the roll then I’ll be happy to have just this one. [Link]
