Conor Harrington
Popped up to London yesterday to check out Conor Harrington’s exhibition at Stolen Space (the new Outside Institute). I had previously seen one of his pieces at the Fiends show last year and was pretty much blown away by it but nothing really prepared me for seeing loads of his paintings next to each other. In fact, I’m a little hazy about the whole visit. I’m not sure how long I spent there but I was sucked in to each and every piece to a point where they just spat me out again as I could hardly work out the logistics of how they were created. Stunning work. I meant to mention it earlier but I’ve had a lot on at the moment. However, it’s not too late to check the show out as it’s still on till Tuesday the 7th of March (today and tomorrow) at Stolen Space, The Dray Walk Gallery (opposite the Old Truman Brewery’s chimney). Sorry for the short notice but you should make the effort to rush down there if you can.
