Spending Godless Money

For more than 10 years, Mitchell Kahle has spent only Godless money. Here’s what he says, “Using a red pen or stamp, I mark a circle and slash over the word “God” on every bill that passes my way. When I make a withdrawal from the bank ATM, I immediately “de-God” each of the crisp new $20s. When I spend the $20s, and receive $1s, $5s, or $10s in change, I “de-God” each bill before passing it along. No merchant or business has ever refused to accept this “godless” money.” [via]

Pretty clever idea! To follow suite in the ridiculous waste of time I began re-Godding previously degodded bills by stamping or writing “In God We Trust” on them. This immature stunt in defacing the dollar proves that anti-christs are just as intolerant and prejudice as they claim Christians to be.

What an interesting point he inadvertently makes. Just the name of God is powerful enough for Mr. Kahle to feel the need to try to shame Him by blocking out His name - only showing that He is anti-God. It actually points out the fact that the Bible is correct, that His is the name above all names. If God doesn’t exist, then why give such an action the time of day? If it simply a Christian, Jewish, or other religious creation, why not ignore it? If it is false, it will die. It obviously disturbs Mr. Kahle, and deep down he is sadly offended by God. Why else spend so much time trying to have God’s name removed? Removing the name of God from currency doesn’t remove God, it only shows his own disdain of God.
