I Got Wood
How to explain? One of my favourite Flickr friends, My dog Sighs, was recently sent a 27 little wooden blocks (by surprise) from one of his Flickr friends to do with as he pleased. Another Flickr member suggested that instead of painting them all himself each block could be painted by a separate artist. In no time at all, the blocks were quickly snapped up by the Flickr artistic community. Another 125 blocks were sent to cater for the growing numbers and, at the time of writing, the I Got Wood project is well under way and showing some very interesting entries (painted, carved, drilled, cut up etc. etc.) from all around the world. Hopefully, once they are all done, they’ll end up being exhibited somewhere nice.
