VOX amPlug - Here’s a neat little gadget for you guitar players. Simply plug this little thing into your guitar and then plug in your headphones into it and you’ll get a modelled guitar sound without the need for hooking up an amp. The models available are a Vox AC30 based one and then a metal and a California-made high-gain amplifier head. “amPlug simulates the circuitry of a vacuum tube amp completely in analog. The result is superior headphone amp tone for the players who are particular about their sound”. It’s a great idea and if it sounds as good as the site says it does then it will be well worth the money.
