Robert Stadler’s Parisian church installation could well be up there in my all time fave pieces of art. I love the way that it’s only seen as properly from a single point ad becomes random and abstract as you move away from that point. Not a new idea I know but you can’t deny how amazing it looks. Dina and Marina’s Girlography is a mix of photography, collage, painting and drawing where the individual citys’ beauty are celebrated along with the beauty of the female form. Some of the images aren’t safe for work [NSFW].

Mina Wu’s chair garments made me smile. WMMNA still knows how to find the best stuff on the net. [via]

The art of Brian M. Viveros is again another twist on the pinup theme. This time it’s darker and not cartoony and as cute as the other two that I’ve posted today. These girls a built to hurt!

More pinup toons but this time with lots of tattoos with Tyson McAdoo’s excellent illustrations. Very cute.

“Pinup Toons” is one of the big search strings that get people to Ektopia due to a few posts quite a while back. The original post was done on a day when I posted a hat-trick of pinup toon links so I thought it was about time I did another set. So, here goes - I dig the format myself and was pleased to see the Art of Gianluca Mattia recently. Although it’s all along the same theme, Gianluca Mattia manages to stamp his own style on things. Not safe for work if your boss doesn’t appreciate cartoon soft porn! [NSFW]

Sandy Smith has created some amazing, and pretty mamoth installations using just old PCs and monitors. I really love this one. Christian iconography and old technology seem like a logical mix to me.

Radical Graphics - “The purpose of this website is to provide activists, radicals, revolutionaries, and otherwise left-leaning individuals, who are working to put together flyers, pamphlets, zines, propaganda etc., with high resolution graphics. Most of the images you will find are of an inherently anti-authoritarian, anti-status quo nature. Of course, everything depends on the context that the image is used. Some of the images are not radical in and of themselves, but they might serve a purpose for certain radical groups/projects”. [Cheers Ed]

This digestive system tube map t-shirt is officially the greatest design ever. Fact! The only thing that could have made it better is if the names were all based on actual stations. I can only think of changing St Pancreas. [via]
