Pushing The Boundary Of Blackness
Perhaps some of the most exciting news of late is that scientists Pulickel Ajayan & Lijie Ci) have created a new material pushes the boundary of blackness. It’s been measured as being 30 times more black than the currently used blackness and is thought to be as “close to the long-sought ideal black”. So what are the implications of this new material? The first will probably be a re-remastered and repackaged version of Spinal Tap’s seminal album Smell The Glove! [via]
