Counter-Photo-Terrorism Ad Campaign

antitcameraad

After the reported rumours that the UK government were discussing a ban photography in public spaces in England (last year?) the Metropolitan Police Service seem to be taking a different approach. Their new counter-terrorism advertising campaign asks the public to watch out for suspicious looking photographers and to report them to the law. More bullshit to try and make the UK public nervous on the streets. [via]

Reckon I should phone the number, “Sir, sir - I’m worried I’m a terrorist. I have had the urge to buy an dSLR with a zoom lense, and frequently find myself taking photos with CCTV cameras in…”

Well it’s not fucking surprise people are taking photos of CCTV cameras - they’re all over the fucking place - I’m waiting on the one to be installed in my lounge next week.
