Lomographic Society Co-Opts Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day
One of my favourite photographers, Nicolai G, has noticed that Lomographic Society are over-stepping the mark as they insinuate that Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day is somehow something officially connected with them. Their latest newsletter loudly says, “THE LOMOGRAPHIC SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL PROUDLY PRESENTS THE WORLD PINHOLE DAY”. That’s a little naughty since the official celebration has been going strong since 2001 without their help! Now, I’m not anti-Lomo but this kind of thing is pretty vulgar isn’t it.
