Insa must feel as high as a kite at the moment as his first run of high heels based on his custom heels goes on sale today. Insa Heels come in three colourways with the elegant names of the cerise and white “Lewisham”, the more recent black and gold “Chelsea” and the classic Insa light pink and white coloured Hackney! I first saw Insa’s original heels back in 2005 (see below) but at the time they were simply customised by hand. Here they are in al their manufactured goddness.
“Operating in a sphere where the personally chosen name, a nom de plume, is everything and style is paramount, the name ‘INSA’ is one that is synonymous with all that is desirable, limited and crafted to the highest standards.
INSA’s world is one where fetishism, desire and graffiti collide; through extensive street level work and fine art INSA has taken the iconic high heel image and made it his own, infusing a simple, yet clever, graphic ‘logo’ with meaning and relevance. High heels represent a myriad of different things to different people; sex, money, fashion, the battle between masculine and feminine sexuality, dominant and submissive, consumerism and object fetishism; all of which are themes actively explored in INSA’s work. Heels themselves are often, of course, objects of desire and objets d’art in their own right.
The fantasy of ‘INSA HEELS’ is now a reality…”

Nordic Rock: Stone Ice Cubes very…cool!
“Nordic Rock is mined from ancient Swedish pollution-free base rock. It is the purest way of cooling your drink - literally ‘on the rocks’. Stone does not melt, which means no unclean water in your glass. They are also reusable making them very eco-friendly. To use, simply place the stone ice cubes in the freezer for approximately one hour before use. For a normal glass, two or three Nordic Rocks will be fine. They give off their cold gradually and equally.”
